~Deuteronomy 23:1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath hisprivy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
~Deuteronomy 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the assembly ofJehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into theassembly of Jehovah.
~Deuteronomy 23:3 An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter intothe assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall nonebelonging to them enter into the assembly of Jehovah for ever:
~Deuteronomy 23:4 because they met you not with bread and withwater in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because theyhired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor ofMesopotamia, to curse thee.
~Deuteronomy 23:5 Nevertheless Jehovah thy God would nothearken unto Balaam; but Jehovah thy God turned the curse into ablessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.
~Deuteronomy 23:6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor theirprosperity all thy days for ever.
~Deuteronomy 23:7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thybrother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, because thou wast asojourner in his land.
~Deuteronomy 23:8 The children of the third generation that are bornunto them shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
~Deuteronomy 23:9 When thou goest forth in camp against thineenemies, then thou shalt keep thee from every evil thing.
~Deuteronomy 23:10 If there be among you any man, that is not cleanby reason of that which chanceth him by night, then shall he goabroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
~Deuteronomy 23:11 but it shall be, when evening cometh on, heshall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall comewithin the camp.
~Deuteronomy 23:12 Thou shalt have a place also without the camp,whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
~Deuteronomy 23:13 and thou shalt have a paddle among thyweapons; and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shaltdig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh fromthee:
~Deuteronomy 23:14 for Jehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thycamp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee;therefore shall thy camp be holy, that he may not see an unclean thingin thee, and turn away from thee.
~Deuteronomy 23:15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master a servantthat is escaped from his master unto thee:
~Deuteronomy 23:16 he shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, inthe place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where itpleaseth him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
~Deuteronomy 23:17 There shall be no prostitute of the daughters ofIsrael, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
~Deuteronomy 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or thewages of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow: foreven both these are an abomination unto Jehovah thy God.
~Deuteronomy 23:19 Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother;interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lentupon interest:
~Deuteronomy 23:20 unto a foreigner thou mayest lend upon interest;but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon interest, that Jehovahthy God may bless thee in all that thou puttest thy hand unto, in theland whither thou goest in to possess it.
~Deuteronomy 23:21 When thou shalt vow a vow unto Jehovah thyGod, thou shalt not be slack to pay it: for Jehovah thy God will surelyrequire it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
~Deuteronomy 23:22 But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be nosin in thee.
~Deuteronomy 23:23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shaltobserve and do; according as thou hast vowed unto Jehovah thy God,a freewill-offering, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
~Deuteronomy 23:24 When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard,then thou mayest eat of grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thoushalt not put any in thy vessel.
~Deuteronomy 23:25 When thou comest into thy neighbor's standinggrain, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thy hand; but thou shaltnot move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing grain
